Maria Victoria de Bernard is a Cuban Born artist currently living near Hudson, New York.
She specializes in Cuban Folk Art.
Hudson, New York has become a magnet for artistic types drawn mostly from New York City which is about 120 miles South.
Can’t say its the weather as winter is usually long, hard, snowy and expensive to heat. Spring is usually short and mostly cold and when its not cold, its muddy as the winter snow melts.

In her own words, this is what Maria writes of what attracts her as an artist to Columbia County;
